Witness to History – Uncovering the Japanese Military Archives

This documentary makes a first visual presentation of the archives of Japanese Army in China, which was discovered by Jilin Provincial Archives. These archives left behind by the Japanese truthfully reveal an episode in the history of Japanese invasion in Northeast China and even the whole China. Through the uncovered facts, this documentary exposes in full details the atrocities committed by Japanese militarism in China, as reflected in the cases of forced laborers, invasive immigration, Unit 731, comfort women and British and American POWs.
